Jefferson Land Trust, one of my favorite local non-profits, asked me to create two images for them to use as they raise funds to purchase Chimacum Ridge. I was honored and happy to work with them on this volunteer project. In the process, I learned a lot about kettle holes and perched aquifers and ... that creating images for others is gratifying but too time consuming for me at this stage of my art practice. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience, and I hope these 11x17 inch props will help them raise enough money to buy this critical property.
